“I’m a wife to my sweet husband of almost two years and new mommy to my rainbow baby as of 2/9/18. Our son is the light of our life! I work full time as a Leave of Absence Specialist in Healthcare.I’m trying to learn to love myself as I am. As a new mother, learning to love your body postpartum is not easy. There are extra pounds, extra rolls, skin that just isn’t the same anymore.

I spent almost 12 years as a makeup artist, so the idea of being on the opposite side of the camera and without makeup was scary for me. We live in a world where social media shames us for flaws and creates an image of what perfection should be.

During the shoot, I felt welcomed, pampered, and comfortable in my own skin. Trish was so easy to talk to and laugh with! When I first saw the photos, it was so hard not to be critical at first. But at the same time, I was surprised how good the pictures turned out. I was surprised that I loved me. I loved the raw images. I loved the way it made me look at myself in a whole new light. I would recommend this experience to any woman learning to love themselves. Self love is so important no matter what your walk of life has been!”
